With the departure of Neymar Jr, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, and Lionel Messi from the LaLiga everyone is skeptical that Laliga will produce that magic and domination they showed for the last 20 years or their inflexible laws and policies are ruining the League or will it be attractive for viewers after these departures in recent years. But with these departures in recent years one team which has benefitted the most is Atletico Madrid or you can say the crisis which Real Madrid and FC Barcelona is facing, Atletico Madrid is starting to show some domination in the domestic league. So we will discuss the possibilities of winning the League of these teams.
In the 2020-21 season Atletico Madrid was crowned as the champions and to a great extent they have bottled their lead but somehow they got over the line last year, but if you see this year things have not changed much in fact Real Madrid losses defenders like Ramos and Varane and FC Barcelona losses “Lionel Messi” which is a great blow for the FC Barcelona. And on the other side of the coin Atletico Madrid have strengthened the team with the signing of Rodrigo De Paul who was sensational in the midfield area for Argentina in Copa America and he is a great addition to the Squad for Diego Simeone and they have signed the young enticing Brazilian talent Marcos Paulo and they have added some great back-ups to the team while for Real Madrid this transfer window is very cold they are just looking for the exit of the players and if some miracle happens they may go for Mbappe but I feel the likeliness of happening this signing is very low this summer and while FC Barcelona has signed Memphis Depay, Sergio Aguero, Eric Garcia, and Emerson Royal and all three can be instrumental for Barca success in this season and they also got a talent like Yusuf Demir who is considered as the Pedri 2.0. But with the departure of Messi and their defense traumas, nothing is looking easy for them. And I still feel Atletico Madrid have all the resources to defend their Title this season and both of the European Giants Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are injured, they are trying to heal their wounds right now and the mess they are in will be difficult for both of the team to win League this season especially Barca, but in LaLiga head to head matches are important and when these giants collide we know anything can happen because of the rivalry they share and the level of football these 3 teams play and when they met each other so it will be crucial how they play against each other and how they earn that 3 point in every weekend. So for now my vote is for Atletico Madrid but I just want to say never write off Barca and Madrid because they are arguably the two best clubs in the world and they know how to fight. So Atletico will be 1st and then I feel Barca will do a job done for 2nd position and then Real Madrid will secure the 3rd position and we can see that this position can be interchanged Barca might be 3rd and Madrid can be 2nd and Sevilla, Real Sociedad, and Villareal can fight for that 4th place or the European places but it will be interesting how viewership of Laliga will be affected after the departures of fan favorites stars especially Lionel Messi who brings lots of endorsements and viewership to the LaLiga.
