Lovlina adds another Bronze to India’s Olympics medal tally

Every Olympics we witness a wonderful story of talents, there are some unheard stories and some are heard but every story has its own emotions. And this is the story of an underdog wrestler Lovlina Borgohain, when she arrives in Olympics I think in wrestling especially everyone’s eyes were on Mary Kom or Amit Panghal but by dropping magnificent performances she grabbed all the attention and it was fully deserved.
So today we will talk about our own India superwoman who recently added to a prestigious list of medalists from India and her name is Lovlina Borgohain. She picks up the Bronze medal and won the 3rd medal for her country and made us proud.

She started her journey of the Tokyo Olympics by winning against N. Apetz and she won that match by 3-2 after handsomely dominating all bouts and proceeded to quarter-finals and she faced N.C.Chen of Chinese Taipei and won that match by 4-1 and she drops another solid performance as she raises the bar of her performance and won that match and with that victory, she secured the medal but the color of the medal still need to be decided, but everyone was hoping from her that color will be Gold even after the match she admitted her dream is to win a gold medal but she came up short and losses her semi-final against Turkey opponent B.Surmeneli, what the big thing is it was a heavy loss for her as she lost the match by 5-0 and she gets dominated by her opponent. Nevertheless, she won Bronze which is a big thing for India and she is only 23 so many Olympics are ahead of her and will get this opportunity in the next Olympics to change the color of her medal and I am confident that she will fulfill her dream and will be standing on the 1st podium.

So hearty congratulation to her it is our 3rd medal in boxing in last 4 Olympics, and also a big congratulation to her coach Raffaele who is the main man behind Lovlina progress in this Olympics.
